Getting to Mandai Crematorium & Columbarium

Mandai Crematorium and Columbarium Complex, including Mandai North Crematorium and Mandai Columbarium, is located at 300 Mandai Road, Singapore 779393. The nearest MRT station is Khatib (North South Line), though it's still a fair distance from the station itself, so most visitors combine it with a bus or taxi rather than walking the whole way.

If you're not driving or taking a taxi, the two most straightforward options are:

• Bus 138 from Ang Mo Kio Bus Interchange • Bus 171 from Yishun Bus Interchange

Both run directly toward the Mandai Crematorium & Columbarium area, and are the routes most families and regular visitors use.

A free shuttle service does exist between Khatib MRT Station (Exit A) and the pedestrian gate along Mandai Avenue. It's worth being clear about this upfront: it doesn't run every day. It operates specifically during peak visiting periods, such as the Qingming Festival, when visitor numbers spike significantly. Outside of these periods, don't plan around the shuttle being available, take the bus or a taxi instead.

If you're driving, note that parking near the complex can be constrained on busy days, and NEA actively encourages visitors to use the shuttle (during peak periods) or park further out and walk in, rather than adding to congestion right at the complex.
