Certificate of Cause of Death
If someone dies at home, a doctor needs to visit and certify the death (the CCOD) before anything else can move forward. Services like Speedoc are a common first call โ but if their line is busy or unreachable, here are independent doctors and clinics in Singapore who also do this.
Do not move the body while you wait for a doctor. If the death looks sudden, suspicious, or unexplained, call 995 or 999 instead โ a house-call doctor cannot certify those cases.
